I've been feeling unsatisfied with the quality of some of my recent blog posts, as well as the site's design more generally. I want this place to be a reflection of me at my best, and I don't think some of the overly wordy, droning reviews I've put out in recent weeks have been that (cough cough Digimon Adventure 02 review I wrote in like an hour). I've really struggled to find an approach that works for reviewing, I seem to either not explain enough or basically recap the whole thing I'm reviewing like a stereotypical YouTube video essayist. And this glorified text document I'm passing off as a website feels lazy instead of charming, but I don't have the HTML or CSS skills to make it look snazzy and creative like the sites on Melonland. Hell, I can't even put the site online at the time of writing due to being underage! I really want to improve the quality of content on here, and I'm writing this article as something to incentivize myself to buckle down and start learning more HTML / CSS / JS, as well as improve my writing skills; since I feel like putting it down in writing makes it feel more concrete instead of just a vague idea floating around in my head.
